The following is a letter from a Las Vegas Homeowner

A Las Vegas homeowner asks if a community manager must be licensed and reports that his manager is still in training but working as a manager anyway.

The answer is that a community manager must be trained and pass a test before becoming licensed. However, there is a category called a "provisional community manager", which apparently means that a manager in training can perform the duties of a community manager under the close supervision of a fully licensed manager. You can find the regulations on this at the website of the Nevada Real Estate Division.
